House System
When children join Froxfield, they are allocated to one of four houses; Ruby, Amethyst, Amber or Emerald. Each house is assigned to a teacher and has a house and vice-captain and children earn house points throughout the term for good work, good effort and for following the school’s Golden Rules.
Each week, the house points across the school are collected and the ‘winning house’ is announced in our celebration worship each Friday. There are half-termly rewards for the winning house and an overall House Cup which is presented at the end of the year.
Throughout the term, opportunities are made for children to work together in their houses, for example during theme days, book weeks and for sporting events. Sports Day is also a house event, with children competing for the House Sports Cup.
